The First Evolution of Man
I talked to you last time about our new heavenly bodies and some of the capabilities that our new bodies will be able to perform. Now I want to talk to you about evolution.
When I talk to people and tell them that I believe in evolution they look at me somewhat puzzled. I do believe that Man is about to evolve into a new spectacular being. The difference between the evolutionists and me is they believe the process will take millions of years and I believe that it will happen “in the twinkling of an eye”. Of course the evolutionists don’t have any proof to back up their theory and all I have is the Bible that was written about four thousand years ago by sixty six different authors and has never been disproven.
The last prophesy that was fulfilled was in 1967 when the Jews recaptured Jerusalem. The next prophesy in line is found in 1st Thessalonians chapter 4 starting at verse 16 through verse 18. “For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. Therefore comfort one another with these words.”
There is also another prophesy concerning this event found in 1st Corinthians chapter 15 verses 51 to 53. “Behold I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed-in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality."
So by reading both of these prophecies I think you can clearly see what’s on the horizon for all of mankind. The evolutionists would have you believe that a gradual change will probably take place in a million or so years and the Bible says to hold on to your hats the change is about to take place. In Noah’s day he tried to warn people of the pending doom that was coming and the people laughed at him and his family. The Bible says that as in Noah’s day so it will be in the last times.
So if you have been sitting on the fence wondering what to do about the sacrifice Jesus made on the cross for you. Now would be a very good time to take Jesus up on his offer!
